Bernstein Shur Welcomes Shareholder Abigail “Abby” Barkwell to Business Law Group 

Bernstein Shur is excited to announce that Abigail Barkwell has joined the firm’s Business Law group, bringing with her a decade of experience representing global lenders, borrowers, and financial institutions in a wide range of sophisticated transactions.  

Abby previously served as in-house counsel at a world-leading art and luxury business. Prior to that, she worked as an Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates in New York City. Her experience spans everything from structuring complex Wall Street transactions to advising small businesses navigating first-time financings.

Abby earned both a JD and Bachelor of Arts at the University of Michigan.
