Four Bernstein Shur Business Leaders Named Among NH 200

Dec. 2, 2021 – The New Hampshire Business Review has named four Bernstein Shur leaders among the New Hampshire 200.

Bernstein Shur attorneys Jim Merrill, Talesha Saint-Marc, Ovide Lamontagne, and senior government consultant Teresa Rhodes Rosenberger are included in the law category of this year’s edition.

The list celebrates New Hampshire’s most influential business leaders across a wide-range industries. It was compiled after a year-long research initiative and hundreds of interviews by the editors of the NHBR “culminating in a highly selective biographical guide to the people who really run New Hampshire,” according to the publication.

“When we decided to compile the New Hampshire 200 list of people with the greatest impact on the state’s economy, business climate and quality of life, we set about surveying dozens of people from every region of the state,” editor Jeff Feingold said.

As part of the selection and interview process, this year’s honorees shared their most important business lesson.

Merrill: “My dad taught me several great lessons: To be humble, to be honest, to work hard and to never be afraid to ask for either help or work, because as he would say, ‘the worst anyone can do is tell you no,’ which is better than not asking and not knowing.”

Saint-Marc: “Be respectful, be prepared and be persistent.”

Lamontagne: “Put your clients’ interests first and do the best work you can for them and everything else with follow. Be honest, straightforward and compassionate with everyone in your business and personal life. Take them, but not yourself, seriously.”

Rosenberger: “Communicate with and listen to your colleagues, clients and anyone you engage with for business. You’ll learn a lot by talking with them and listening. Respect, even if you do not agree with, others and their ideas.”

The 200 people honored on the list will be celebrated at a reception in Manchester next week.
