ME Municipal Association’s Personnel Practices Workshop

Attorneys Ann Freeman, Matt Tarasevich, Tara Walker & Bill Wahrer will provide a comprehensive overview of the various and important personnel laws that every public manager, leader, department head and staff member should be familiar with. Topics may include discipline and discharge, family medical leaves, disability, discrimination and handling difficult employee situations. There will be discussion on special rules that apply to public employers, and the presenters will answer questions and will discuss common personnel issues.

This workshop is a must – whether appointed or elected, every municipal leader or staff manager/supervisor should be informed about personnel laws.
