Jason Cole to Co-Lead Nonprofit Strategy Webinar on Navigating Legal and Policy Shifts

Bernstein Shur Shareholder Jason Cole will co-present at a webinar, Beyond Executive Orders: Strategic Responses for Nonprofits, on Wednesday, May 14th hosted by the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits. The webinar will help nonprofit leaders navigate the rapidly shifting policy landscape. Charla Stevens, JD, Principal of Charla Stevens Consulting, will present alongside Jason. 

Attendees will gain an overview of relevant anti-discrimination laws, tools for assessing organizational risk, and guidance on evaluating diversity, equity, and inclusion practices and policies and managing potential issues with federal contracts. After the event, all participants will receive a digital folder of resources, including the webinar recording, presentation slides, and supplemental materials.  

As a JD and CPA who also holds an MBA, Jason offers a unique multidisciplinary perspective on complex transactions, business structuring, and regulatory compliance for both for-profit and non-profit organizations. Before joining Bernstein Shur, he served as General Counsel for one of New Hampshire’s largest health systems, where he navigated high-stakes regulatory and transactional matters and led the system through the largest hospital merger in the state’s history. His experience managing crises—including regulatory scrutiny, whistleblower suits, and media-sensitive matters—has made him a trusted advisor in moments of uncertainty.
