Bernstein Shur Welcomes Kaitlyn Husar
Portland and Augusta, ME and Manchester, NH (February 2019) – Bernstein Shur, a leading New England based law firm, welcomes attorney Kaitlyn Husar to the firm as an associate.
Husar will join the firm’s Business Restructuring and Insolvency Practice Group where she will focus on all manner of insolvency matters. Prior to joining Bernstein Shur, Husar was an associate at a local Portland law firm and served as a judicial extern for Judge Peter Carey at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maine, and was a student attorney for the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic. She is a member of the Maine section of the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross and was selected to be a member of the Maine Association of Nonprofit’s 2018 Emerging Leaders Class. Husar was named a Distinguished Law Student for the First Circuit by the American College of Bankruptcy, and received the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Medal for Excellence in Bankruptcy Studies.
Husar earned her J.D from the University of Maine School of Law and her B.A. from Earlham College. She is admitted to practice in the state of Maine and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and resides in Portland, Maine.
