Bernstein Shur Welcomes Attorney Eviana Englert

Portland and Augusta, ME and Manchester, NH (September 23, 2019) – Bernstein Shur, a leading New England based law firm welcomed Eviana Englert as an associate to the firm’s Portland office.

Englert will be joining the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group, where she will focus on all manner of litigation matters. Prior to joining Bernstein Shur, Englert was a law clerk for the Hon. Jeffrey L. Hjelm of the ME Supreme Judicial Court. Previously, she spent three years as Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Special Federal Litigation Division of the New York City Law Department where she defended the city in federal civil rights lawsuits. She also served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Geoffrey W. Crawford of the United States District Court for the District of Vermont.

Englert earned her J.D. from Vermont Law School, magna cum laude and her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College. She is licensed to practice in the states of ME and New York and resides in Portland, ME.
