Having worked on environmental issues in the non-profit and governmental sectors prior to starting her legal career, Leti knows first-hand the challenges that clients face throughout the many phases of a project. Her unique experience and insights guide her dedicated, thoughtful approach with her clients.
Prior to joining Bernstein Shur, Leti was a law clerk to the honorable Thomas E. Humphrey of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court, and interned for the Maine Attorney General’s office, where she conducted legal research and worked in the criminal and natural resources divisions. She also spent a semester in Kathmandu, Nepal on an independent research project into Nepal’s environmental and climate change policies.
In her former life, Leti was:
- Judicial law clerk to the Honorable Thomas E. Humphrey of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court
- An intern for the Maine Attorney General’s office
- An intern for the Natural Resources Defense Council
- A coach for the Maine Outdoor Education Program
