She is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and responsive—skills born from a life prior to law school in the service industry, where she honed her ability to build and maintain positive, trusted relationships.

Kyla demonstrated her leadership, dedication to the field of law, and commitment to civic service as a recipient of the Outstanding Law Student Award from the National Association of Women Lawyers, staff editor for the Maine Law Review, Co-Chair of the Women’s Law Association, and a student attorney in the Refugee and Human Rights Clinic.
