Chris’s specialty is organization— he’s coordinated strategic grassroots campaigns and executed those strategies to a T. He is now dedicated to using this knowledge to guide his clients in achieving their best interests in public affairs.

Before joining Bernstein Shur, Chris was a Grassroots Manager for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, working to raise awareness in the state and federal government and fight for cancer legislation. He also worked with the Maine Democratic Party, the New York Democratic Party, and the Democratic National Committee as a field organizer, recruiting, overseeing groups of, and determining the goals of their volunteers.

He recognizes the power of collective effort to attain a common goal—and knows how to bring people together to achieve that power. Managing grassroots campaigns gave Chris the experience of bringing different individuals and organizations together effectively, and he uses this skill in the legislature with his clients.

Chris is experienced in:

  • Issue advocacy
  • Coalition building
  • Tactical and strategic planning

In his former life, Chris was:
