Franklin County to hold public hearing on fourth TIF amendment

Shareholder Shana Cook Mueller is working with Franklin County on an amendment to the county’s 2008 tax-increment financing agreement. In June 2019, the Legislature approved a change to Franklin county’s TIF program regarding using funds for costs associated with broadband and fiber optic expansion projects. Commissioners are holding a public hearing on Tuesday, October 20th on this proposed fourth amendment.
