Cyberthieves Hit Small Business Owners

Attorney Dan Mitchell, a shareholder and member of Bernstein Shur’s Litigation Group represented Patco Construction Company Inc. in a case involving banking cyber theft. The case examined the commercial reasonableness of the bank’s security measures under the Uniform Commercial Code after the small business experienced a series of fraudulent withdrawals.
