Attorney Naomi Butterfield

Manchester, NH (January 23, 2013) – Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, announced the addition of attorney Naomi N. Butterfield to the firm’s Manchester, New Hampshire, Labor and Employment Practice Group.

Butterfield, a resident of Concord, New Hampshire, has more than 20 years of experience practicing law in New England and Colorado. Her labor and employment practice will focus on serving educational institutions, including colleges, universities, public education systems and private schools. She joins a group of highly skilled labor and employment attorneys, and will help the group expand its New Hampshire practice.

Prior to joining Bernstein Shur, Butterfield served as general counsel to the Community College System of New Hampshire, where she counseled the community college system, the board of trustees and the chancellor’s office on matters of state and federal law. Before joining the college, Butterfield was an assistant attorney general for both the New Hampshire Office of the Attorney General and the Colorado Office of the Attorney General.

Butterfield received her JD from the University of Denver College of Law and her BS from the University of Michigan. She is a member of the National Association for College and University Attorneys and the New Hampshire and Colorado bar associations.
