Bernstein Shur Attorney Linda McGill to Teach at ME Law

Portland and Augusta, ME and Manchester, NH (November 15, 2019) – Bernstein Shur, a leading New England based law firm, announced that attorney Linda D. McGill has been appointed to teach Employment Law at the University of Maine School of Law during the spring 2020 semester.

McGill is a top-ranked lawyer in the field of labor and employment law and has been included in rankings for The Best Lawyers in America® for more than 15 consecutive years. McGill recently completed a six-year term as a member of the ME Board of Bar Examiners.

With substantial experience and practice in all facets of private and public sector labor and employment law including litigation defense, McGill advises employers on a broad range of matters including day to day compliance, claims avoidance, executive compensation, labor negotiations, employment contracts and intellectual property. McGill regularly presents training and workshops to employer representatives and attorneys on workplace law and risk reduction. She is a contributing author to the treatise A Practical Guide to Employment Law in ME, 2019 MCLE and has previously taught Employment Discrimination Law at the University of Maine School of Law.
