Attorney Ovide Lamontagne Elected to Bernstein Shur’s Board of Directors

Manchester, NH and Portland and Augusta, ME (June 3rd 2019) – Bernstein Shur, a leading New England law firm, announced that Ovide Lamontagne has been elected by his colleagues to serve as a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. He has been appointed to a three-year term and joins other board members Joan Fortin, D. Sam Anderson, Katherine R. Knox, Kevan Lee Deckelmann, Robert J. Keach, COO Julie Watson Boehme and CEO Pat Scully.

Lamontagne, a Shareholder who practices out of the firm’s New Hampshire office, is a Manchester native who has distinguished himself as one of New Hampshire’s most accomplished attorneys and highly regarded community leaders since beginning his private practice in 1986. He was a former 2012 and 1996 Republican nominee for Governor in New Hampshire, as well as the former Chairman of the New Hampshire State Board of Education. Lamontagne has served in multiple roles and capacities within community organizations over the years, including as Founding President of the Franco-American Center, President of the Daniel Webster Council, Boy Scouts of America, Chairman of the Board of St. Mary’s Bank, and Member of the Boards of the Easter Seal Society of NH, CASA-NH, the Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund and Manchester Crimeline.
