Portland and Augusta, ME and Manchester, NH (October 31, 2012) – Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, announced that 36 of its attorneys have been named in the 2012 New England Super Lawyers and Rising Stars directories. Bernstein Shur attorneys are consistently ranked in Super Lawyers and Rising Stars, with one-third earning the recognition.

Super Lawyers is a directory featuring top legal talent from more than 70 practice areas across the country. Each year, Super Lawyers conducts a multi-phased selection process which includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

The Rising Stars directory was developed by Super Lawyers in 1998 to honor outstanding attorneys who are under 40 or have been practicing for less than 10 years.
