Bernstein Shur Earns Top Honors in Chambers USA for Corporate M&A (including Bankruptcy), Energy & Natural Resources and Real Estate

Law Firm has 30 Individuals Ranked in Leading Law Directory

Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, has again earned top marks from Chambers USA, a prestigious directory of the nation’s top law firms and leading business lawyers.

The firm received the highest possible ranking in three categories, Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions (including Bankruptcy), Energy and Natural Resources and Real Estate. Chambers USA also recognized the Portland and Augusta, Maine offices for their Environment, Labor and Employment and General Commercial Litigation practice groups noting “they are very diligent, thorough and careful lawyers.”

The Manchester, New Hampshire office was recognized for its Labor and Employment Practice Group, with Chambers USA noting their “very professional; excellent response time, and thoughtful counsel.“

In addition to the firm rankings, 30 of the firm’s attorneys were individually recognized, 11 ranked in the top band of their areas of practice including for the eighth consecutive year, Robert J. Keach who received Chambers’ highest ranking of “Star Individual” for his work in bankruptcy. Two of the firm’s attorneys are new to the Chambers’ rankings: Shareholder Anthony E. Perkins and associate Steven Gerlach.
