Law Firm Bernstein Shur Welcomes New Leadership with Pat Scully as CEO

Scully Brings 30 Years of Firm Experience to Top Leadership Position

Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, announced Patrick J. Scully as its new chief executive officer beginning January 1, 2014. Scully has been a member of the firm for 30 years, serves on the firm’s board of directors and is former chair of its Municipal and Regulatory Practice Group.

As CEO Scully will hold the firm’s top leadership position. Under his direction, the firm will continue to implement its strategic plan and promote the law firm’s core values and client service-centered culture.

Scully has represented clients in a variety of matters as a member of the Energy Law Practice Group and Municipal and Regulatory Practice Group. He focuses on energy contract and regulatory matters with developers and owners of generation facilities and representing ME towns and special districts in utility regulatory matters.

Scully received his JD from University of Maine School of Law and his AB from Dartmouth College. He is recognized by Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA for his energy law and administrative law work and is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
