PRESS & PUBLICATIONS

Here’s why you’ll enjoy working with her.

Isabel is a down to earth native Mainer who has a genuine passion for her state and the constant drive to make it better place for all who live here. She isn’t afraid of a challenge, and can always be counted on for direct and practical legal counsel. Prior to joining Bernstein Shur, Isabel was a clerk for the Maine Superior Court, and also won the 2016 Law Student Ethics Award from the Northeast Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel for her work as a student attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic. While working there, Isabel wrote and filed with the Maine Supreme Judicial Court, the Prisoner Assistance Clinic’s first-ever brief of amicus curiae.

Isabel was also elected president of the Student Bar Association during law school, and was elected by her peers to receive the Diana DeJesus Student Bar Association Distinguished Service Award in part for her service as president.

Regardless of the issues she faces, Isabel’s clients can always depend on her for kind, capable counsel and feel confident she’s in their corner.

But that’s not all. Isabel is also experienced in:

  • Legal research
  • Campaign finance
  • Campaign messaging and strategy

In her former life, Isabel was:

  • A student attorney for the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic
  • A Linda Smith Dyer Fellow at the Maine Women’s Policy Center
  • A legislative aide for the Maine State Senate
  • A staff assistant for the Office of Congresswoman Pingree
  • A campaign and finance assistant for Pingree for Congress

When Isabel isn’t working, she is…

Hiking, doing farm work, horseback riding, or exploring Maine’s great outdoors with her golden retriever, Rylee. Isabel also enjoys cheering on the New England Patriots and sharing a good meal with friends and family.
