In 1984, Bernstein Shur opened its Augusta, Maine, office, just a stone’s throw from the State House.
Our Augusta office serves as a hub during the legislative session—a place for our attorneys and consultants to meet with policymakers, attend hearings, and support clients navigating Maine’s political and regulatory landscape. It’s a space built for connection and action: rooted in the deep relationships our Government and Public Affairs team has built over decades with policymakers, regulators, and community leaders, this office offers a convenient and familiar base for meaningful engagement with all branches of state government.

Driving Directions from the North
- Take I-95 South Exit 109 (Augusta-Winthrop).
- Follow signs to Augusta, merging onto Western Avenue.
- Stay on Western through 6 lights.
- Approaching traffic circle, bear right; our office is on the third floor (Suite 301) of the large, brown building with curved façade, on your right.
- Take first right off circle, then first right into parking lot adjacent to building. (If this lot is full, try adjoining lot, next right).
