HR issues seem to come in clusters. While legal changes often drive our work, there are recurring issues and themes that seem to hit our desks in cycles. Ann Freeman will discuss some of the issues that have been on our desks the last few months including “therapy dogs” in the workplace, “accommodating” the use of medical marijuana, and criminal background checks in light of the tightening workforce; she will discuss tips for preparing for these issues so that they are on your desk!

In this session, Linda McGill will provide a legal update on the most recent developments in federal and state law related to labor and employment, and what you need to know.
