Bernstein Shur is pleased to announce that Rachael Becker McEntee, Shareholder in the firm’s Energy, Environmental, and Land Use groups, has been named to the Board of Directors of the Maine Justice Foundation.
The Maine Justice Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to expanding access to civil legal aid across Maine. Through critical funding and partnerships, MJF helps ensure that individuals and families facing life-changing civil legal challenges—such as housing instability, employment disputes, and access to healthcare—are not left to navigate the legal system alone.
Rachael’s appointment reflects her commitment to justice and community impact. It also underscores Bernstein Shur’s longstanding partnership with MJF. For more than 25 years, the firm has supported the Foundation’s work, including helping establish the Frank M. Coffin Family Law Public Interest Fellowship, which places attorneys at Pine Tree Legal Assistance to provide pro bono representation to Mainers in need. The firm has also supported initiatives such as MJF’s Racial Justice Fund. .

Rachael Becker McEntee is a Shareholder at Bernstein Shur in the firm’s Energy, Environmental, and Land Use practice groups.
