On Thursday, September 25, Bernstein Shur CEO Kaveri Subbarao Nauhaus joined former U.S. Senator Olympia Snowe and other distinguished leaders as a featured speaker at the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute’s Fall Forum, held at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
Nearly 1,000 people attended the statewide event, which brought together more than 600 young women from 38 Maine high schools and 400 mentors, educators, and community leaders. Kaveri participated in a panel discussion alongside Vanessa Madore of Maine Savings and Lisa Sockabasin of Wabanaki Public Health & Wellness, offering insights on leadership, growth, and resilience.
The Fall Forum is the Institute’s flagship gathering, part of a three-year accredited program that helps high school girls develop the communication skills and leadership abilities to thrive in their personal and future professional lives. As part of the day’s lineup of inspiring speakers, Kaveri shared reflections on embracing challenges as a catalyst for growth, the importance of honesty in self-evaluation, and the mindset required to pursue excellence through continuous learning and resilience.
Bernstein Shur is proud to support the Institute’s mission of empowering Maine’s next generation of leaders and to see Kaveri’s message reinforce the firm’s broader commitment to a culture of purpose and personal growth.
