Bernstein Shur attorneys Ann Freeman, Matt Tarasevich and Paige Eggleston will serve as presenters at the “Payroll Procedures Workshop,” to be hosted on September 30 by the Maine Municipal Tax Collectors’ and Treasurers’ Association (MMTCTA).
The full-day workshop will cover key payroll and wage-and-hour issues facing public sector employers, including Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requirements, recent state and federal legal updates, and Maine’s Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) law. Attendees will also have an opportunity to put their toughest payroll-related legal questions to the presenters and work through real-life fact patterns.
The workshop will be held from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Maine Municipal Association Conference Center in Augusta.
