Hilary Holmes Rheaume Named to New Hampshire Union Leader’s 2022 “40 Under Forty” Class

Jan. 24, 2022 — In recognition of her personal and professional contributions to the Granite State, New Hampshire’s Union Leader is honoring Bernstein Shur attorney Hilary Holmes Rheaume on its prestigious 40 Under Forty list.

“We are very proud of Hilary for receiving this impressive recognition. She is not only a terrific attorney, but an exceptional colleague as well with a bright future ahead of her,” said Jim Merrill, who leads the firm’s Manchester office.

Rheaume provides businesses of all sizes with thoughtful legal counsel, with a specialized focus in representing automotive and equipment dealers throughout New England. She’s the chair of the Board of Directors for Woodside School, Inc. and a member of the Board of Directors for the New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence.

Since its inception in 2002, the 40 Under Forty list has honored more than 800 people for their work to make New Hampshire a better place to live and work, including Bernstein Shur’s Jim Merrill (Class of 2004), Ned Sackman (Class of 2017), Talesha Saint-Marc (Class of 2019), and Christina Ferrari (2021).

Nominations were made last fall and nominees had to be younger than 40 and lived in New Hampshire for at least the last three years. Award recipients will be honored in April at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord.
