Title IX/ Sexual Misconduct Investigator
Bernstein Shur seeks an experienced Investigator to join its expanding team-based Workplace and Campus Investigation Practice in Portland, Maine. The ideal candidate will possess 2-4 years of experience conducting investigations as an unbiased and neutral party, superior writing and emotional intelligence skills, knowledge of trauma-informed interview practices, the ability to work simultaneously on multiple investigations, and a willingness to work during non-traditional hours and travel as needed. Preferred candidates will have experience leading Title IX investigations in educational settings or investigating/prosecuting criminal sexual abuse cases.
Applicants who have earned a J.D. degree are strongly preferred and will receive priority consideration.
