Bernstein Shur Welcomes Hilary Cessna

Portland and Augusta, ME and Manchester, NH (July 8th, 2016) – Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, welcomes attorney Hilary Cessna to its Manchester, New Hampshire office.

Cessna joins the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group, where her practice will focus on assisting organizations that need litigation support and counsel in business litigation, employment litigation, competition-related matters, and products liability defense.

Cessna earned her J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, cum laude, and earned her B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University, cum laude. Cessna served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Landya McCafferty of the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, as well as a legal intern to the National Education Association of New Hampshire. A graduate of UNH’s Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program, Cessna was admitted to practice in the state of New Hampshire upon graduation.

In May 2016, Cessna was recognized by the University of New Hampshire School of Law faculty with the National Association of Women’s Lawyers Award as an Outstanding Law Student, recognizing her academic achievement, motivation, tenacity, enthusiasm and promotion of issues and concerns of women in the legal profession. Cessna resides in Concord, New Hampshire.
