Registration Open for Inaugural Brewers’ Conference

ME Brewers’ Guild announces business-to-business conference covering technical aspects of brewing and running a brewery

PORTLAND, ME (March 3, 2016) – Registration is now open for the inaugural New England Brew Summit being held on April 1, 2016 in Portland, ME.

Hosted and organized by the ME Brewers’ Guild with support from presenting sponsor, Bernstein Shur, the summit is a full-day conference covering both the technical aspects of brewing as well as the business challenges of running a brewery for brewers, brewery owners and their employees and the businesses that support the industry.

“It’s no secret that there’s been a massive explosion in the craft beer world in recent years,” said ME Brewers’ Guild Executive Director Sean Sullivan. “Due to the pioneering efforts of the craft beer movement throughout ME and New England, the industry continues to mature and grow. We saw the need for a professional conference and a forum about the issues and business topics that impact brewers and move the industry as a whole forward.”

The full-day event was first announced at a press conference on February 25 announcing a partnership between the University of Southern ME and ME Brewers’ Guild for a new Quality Assurance/Quality Control and Research Laboratory, which is a first-of-its-kind collaboration.
