Michael A. Klass

Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, welcomes Michael A. Klass to the firm’s Manchester, New Hampshire office.

Klass joins the firm’s Litigation Practice Group where his practice will focus on litigation, land use, and real estate development in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. As part of his practice, Klass regularly appears before local zoning and planning boards and before state and federal courts, as well as leveraging his substantive appellate experience.

Prior to joining Bernstein Shur, Klass was a litigation associate at a boutique law firm in Massachusetts, where he represented both commercial and individual clients focusing on real estate litigation, land use matters, and title insurance defense. Before that, he served for two years as law clerk to the Honorable Alexander H. Sands, III, Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Land Court in Boston.

Klass received his J.D. from Vermont Law School, cum laude, and his undergraduate degree in Watershed Science from Colorado State University, where he was an accomplished Division I cross country and track runner. He is admitted to practice in the state of New Hampshire and the commonwealth of Massachusetts. He resides in Manchester, New Hampshire.
