Bernstein Shur Welcomes Attorney Kristin Mendoza

Nashua Based Millyard Tech Law to Join Bernstein Shur

Manchester, NH and Portland and Augusta, ME– Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, welcomes Kristin Mendoza as a shareholder to the firm’s Manchester, New Hampshire office.

Mendoza, who will also maintain a presence in Nashua, joins the firm’s Business Practice Group where she will focus on all manner of corporate matters such as entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, angel, venture capital and private equity financing, licensing and technology transfers, and independent contractor and executive agreements, with a particular emphasis on providing strategic advice and counsel to  entrepreneurs and emerging tech startups as well as mature businesses at all stages of development across a broad spectrum of industries.

Prior to joining Bernstein Shur, Mendoza previously practiced out of her own firm, Millyard Tech Law and previous to that at a large New Hampshire based law firm. Mendoza is dedicated to community service and has distinguished herself in several positions, such as Board Chair for the Nashua Innovation Center, a virtual business incubator. She has also served as President of the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association and as a board member of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Nashua, the United Way of Greater Nashua and the New England Women’s Leadership Institute.

Mendoza earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law and her B.A. from Boston University. She is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and resides in Nashua, New Hampshire.
