Firm Earns Listing for Third Year in a Row – Ranked in Top 20 Companies (#17)

Portland and Augusta, ME (October 12, 2012) – Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, was ranked 17th on ME’s Best Places to Work list at an awards’ ceremony October 11. On the Best Places’ list for three consecutive years, the firm shares the distinction with 41 other companies and is the only law firm to make the list.

Best Places to Work in ME was created in 2006 to recognize companies that have established and consistently fostered outstanding workplace environments. The program promotes a long-term initiative to encourage growth and excellence throughout ME companies. To be considered for the list companies must complete a two-phase evaluation that includes examining policies, practices and demographics, and conducting employee surveys.
