Bernstein Shur Attorney Peter Rubin Ranked One of New England’s Top 100 Lawyers

Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, announced that Shareholder Peter J. Rubin has been ranked in 2013 New England Super Lawyers as one of New England’s “Top 100” lawyers.

Super Lawyers is a directory featuring top legal talent from more than 70 practice areas across the country. Each year, Super Lawyers conducts a multi-phased selection process which includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The Top 100 is a designation that denotes the highest rank in 2013 New England Super Lawyers. Rubin is recognized in Super Lawyers for business litigation.

Rubin, based in the Portland, ME office, is the senior member of the Litigation Group. His practice concentrates in complex cases involving product liability, business litigation, malpractice and personal injury claims. Rubin has been involved in the defense of asbestos claims at the national level for more than 34 years, representing defendants throughout New England and the U.S. and serving on committees devoted to the study of asbestos litigation.

Rubin is admitted to practice in ME, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He lives in Scarborough, ME.
