Our energy law practice is the preeminent group in Maine, New Hampshire and northern New England, representing the independent power producers’ industry, and counts among its regular in-state clients more than 3,000 megawatts of installed generation from more than 50 separate facilities. The firm serves as counsel to state trade groups, including the Independent Energy Producers of Maine and the New England Renewable Power Association. Our energy attorneys are often retained as special counsel by plant owners and financing entities throughout the country.  In addition to extensive domestic work, our attorneys have structured projects in overseas markets and managed the start up and acceptance process for foreign projects.
