Van Hemel Named as Bernstein Shur Shareholder

PORTLAND, Maine: Peter J. Van Hemel has been named a shareholder of Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms.

A member of the Real Estate Practice Group, Mr. Van Hemel specializes in commercial lease negotiations, development projects including wind energy and telecommunications, transactional work, boundary disputes, and easement negotiations. He has also worked on a wide variety of immigration matters.

Mr. Van Hemel received his JD cum laude from Boston University School of Law in 2001, and his BA in International Relations from The College of William & Mary in 1995. He resides in Kennebunk, Maine.
