Twenty-one attorneys from Bernstein Shur have been selected by a team of independent legal researchers for inclusion in the 2009 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, a prestigious directory of leading attorneys in the United States.
The recognition is significant as it is a result of independent research and interviews with clients and peers to impartially gauge performance and rank top attorneys and firms throughout the United States. Chambers USA’s 2009 edition will be released in June.
Those selected to be included in the guide for Maine are Robert J. Keach and Jay S. Geller of Falmouth, Michael Fagone of Gorham, and D. Sam Anderson of Yarmouth for Corporate/M&A: Bankruptcy; Charles E. Miller and Nathan H. Smith of Portland, Jaimie P. Schwartz of South Portland, David Ray of Yarmouth, William M. Welch and Richard W. “Rick” Smith of Falmouth, and Tom S. Hanson of Cumberland, all for Real Estate; Eliza Cope Nolan of Portland for Timberland/Conservation Real Estate; Peter J. Rubin of Scarborough and Paul McDonald of Cape Elizabeth for General Commercial Litigation; Jeffrey A. Thaler of Yarmouth for Environment and General Commercial Litigation; Linda D. McGill of Freeport and Glenn Israel of Cape Elizabeth for Employment; and Eric F. Saunders of Cumberland and John Carpenter of North Yarmouth for Corporate/M&A.
Those selected to be included in the guide for New Hampshire are Andru Volinsky of Concord for General Commercial Litigation, and Andrea Johnstone of Hopkinton for Employment.
