Ned Sackman Appointed to NHBA’s New Lawyer Committee
November 5, 2010

Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, announced today that Associate Edward (Ned) Sackman has been appointed to the New Hampshire Bar Association’s (NHBA) New Lawyer Committee.

In his role with the NHBA New Lawyer Committee, Sackman will work with fellow committee members to serve as a resource for attorneys who are new to the legal field or for those who have just begun to practice in New Hampshire.  The committee plans events and oversees several programs to assist newer attorneys with their integration into the profession.

“I’m pleased to be part of the committee’s efforts to reach out to new members of the NH Bar,” said Sackman. “By sharing professional resources and guidance, we all work to strengthen our abilities to serve the clients that we represent.”

A resident of Concord, N.H., Sackman is a member of Bernstein Shur’s litigation practice group. He has experience with a broad range of civil litigation, including labor and employment issues, commercial litigation, federal fraud investigations, products liability, and personal injury disputes. Sackman also maintains a pro bono practice and is a member of the board of directors for Road of Life: Cancer Prevention for Kids.

Ned formerly clerked for Judge Thomas M. Golden of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Prior to working with Judge Golden, Sackman practiced with a products liability group of a large Philadelphia firm. He received his J.D. from University of Virginia School of Law in 2004 and a B.A. from Tulane University in New Orleans in 2001.
