Greg Michael Joins Bernstein Shur
August 17, 2010

Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, announced today that attorney Greg Michael will be joining the firm’s real estate practice group as an “of counsel” attorney.

Michael will focus his work within the practice group on real estate finance, land use and development, and litigation.

He formerly practiced law as a member of the business real estate and litigation groups at the New Hampshire law firm of Wiggin & Nourie.  Prior to that, Michael maintained a successful private law practice, representing clients throughout New Hampshire for many years.

Michael has a distinguished legal and military career that includes serving in the U.S. Air Force, working as a member of the Judge Advocate General’s Department at McGuire Air Force Base and as area defense counsel for U.S. and foreign bases.  After completing his term of active duty, Michael served in the Air Force Reserves and held the title of Chief Reserve Trial Judge of the Air Force until his military retirement in 2003.

“Greg’s expertise will further enhance the depth and experience of our real estate practice, providing a substantial benefit to our current and future clients. His significant experience both complements and strengthens our existing capabilities,” said Charles E. Miller, Bernstein Shur’s Managing Shareholder.

A frequent lecturer on municipal law and land use issues, Michael is a graduate of Suffolk Law School in Boston, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire.
