Bernstein Shur Welcomes Business Attorney David Schneider

Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, welcomes David Schneider to the firm’s Portland, ME office.

Schneider joins the firm’s Business Law Practice Group. He is part of a dynamic team of business law attorneys who provide strategic counseling and day-to-day assistance to a broad array of corporate clients on matters ranging from mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, intellectual property development and licensing, executive compensation matters and, to general business and corporate matters.

Prior to joining Bernstein Shur, Schneider was a business associate at a boutique law firm in Portland, ME where he advised clients on business issues including various corporate mergers and acquisitions, drafting and negotiating employment agreements, equity incentive plans and award agreements, non-competition agreements, formation issues and corporate governance procedures.

Schneider earned his J.D. from The George Washington University School of Law, with highest honors, where he also was managing editor of The George Washington Law Review. He also earned his undergraduate degree from The George Washington University in International Affairs, summa cum laude. He is admitted to practice in the state of ME and state of New York. He resides with his wife in South Portland, ME.
