Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, announced today that Counsel Carol Willoughby has been invited to join the board of NeighborWorks® Greater Manchester.
NeighborWorks is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families in the Greater Manchester region by providing access to quality housing and revitalizing neighborhoods to help them secure stable housing costs and economic self-sufficiency. As a member of the board, Willoughby will work to fulfill the goal of providing quality housing options to every citizen in Greater Manchester regardless of their financial situation.
“I’m gratified to be able to join the Board of NeighborWorks at a time when their services are so desperately needed in our community,” said Willoughby. “NeighborWorks has accomplished so much for many local residents; it gives me great pleasure to share my knowledge and experience as an attorney with them.”
Willoughby is member of the real estate and litigation practice groups at Bernstein Shur. Prior to joining Bernstein Shur, she served as New Hampshire State Counsel and Vice President for First American Title Insurance Company. She was previously a partner at McNicholas and Willoughby in Concord, NH, and is a former clerk to the Hon. Rudolph Kass of the Massachusetts Court of Appeals. Willoughby earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Southern Illinois University in 1995 and earned a B.A. from Rivier College in NH in 1993.
