Bernstein Shur’s Jeff Thaler Appointed to National Lex Mundi Committee

PORTLAND, Maine – Bernstein Shur’s Jeffrey A. Thaler has been named Regional Vice Chair for North America of the Lex Mundi Environmental Practice Group.

Thaler, a senior member of Bernstein Shur’s Energy, Environmental, and Litigation Practice Groups, has a wide-ranging practice that includes environmental and energy permitting, compliance, enforcement and litigation, as well as litigation for clients with commercial, medical and legal disputes, insurance coverage, personal injury, or toxic tort problems.

Lex Mundi is the world’s leading association of independent law firms.  The association has more than 160 member firms around the world, representing approximately 21,000 lawyers. Bernstein Shur is the exclusive Maine member of the organization, giving the firm and its clients access to the resources and expertise of other member firms throughout the world.

A resident of Yarmouth, Thaler is a founding member of The American College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL). He has been recognized for 20 years by Best Lawyers in America for his work in environmental and natural resources law, and in recent years by Chambers USA for his environmental and litigation practices.
