PORTLAND, Maine – Attorney Daniel J. Edwards has joined the Litigation Practice Group at Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest multi-service law firms.
Edwards will focus his practice on a wide range of real estate litigation matters, including commercial disputes, transactions and contracts.
“Dan will enhance our already strong real estate and commercial litigation practice,” said Charles E. Miller, the firm’s managing shareholder.
Prior to joining Bernstein Shur, Edwards served as the general counsel and creative director at KempGoldberg Strategic Marketing & Communications, and worked as an attorney at Norman, Hanson & DeTroy in Portland. He also has run his own consulting firm, Edwards Creative, Inc., and in the late 90s worked with three partners to develop an online marketplace for used industrial equipment.
A Yarmouth resident, Edwards is a cum laude graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maine, where he also graduated with honors.
