Wendy is a member of Bernstein Shur’s Real Estate Practice Group and Business Restructuring and Insolvency Practice Group. She has more than 20 years of practice concentrated in:

  • Lease litigation
  • Creditor insolvency
  • Debtor insolvency

Wendy is experienced in and represents commercial landlords, public housing, subsidized housing and Section 8 landlords in all aspects of landlord-tenant and HUD-related issues. She represents institutional lenders, borrowers and businesses in:

  • Transactions restructuring
  • Mortgage foreclosure
  • Collection issues
  • Documentation of transactions
  • Collection procedures

Wendy often conducts seminars for banks, small to medium business sales forces, commercial and residential landlords and commercial litigators. She discussed landlord-tenant issues as a guest speaker for “Money Talks,” a WMPG radio program, and has authored the following articles: “How to Deal with Bounced Checks” for Portland Press Herald; and “Getting Paid on Construction Projects Before Bankruptcy” for Construction Business Owner, February 2009.
