Legal Assistants
This is a highly visible and responsible position reporting to two or more attorneys in specific practice areas. Bernstein Shur’s legal assistants are an integral part of the team and are critical to the success and profitability of the firm.
Must have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Superior organization and communication skills, along with flexibility, are the keys to success in this position. This position requires knowledge of the law, administrative capabilities, and top notch client service skills. Two years of experience (including Word and Excel skills) are required.

Paralegals
Bernstein Shur's paralegals are a critical component of the firm's client service team. Paralegal candidates must possess superior analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, and must be computer literate in Word, Excel, and document scanning. Paralegals must be detail-oriented and demonstrate the ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects. Must be able to interact effectively with employees, clients, and management at all levels within the firm. Minimum of three years of experience required.

Tax, Trusts, and Estate Paralegal
Bernstein Shur seeks to hire a Tax, Trusts and Estate Paralegal. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of five years of trust, estate and probate administration experience. This position requires a self-starter who is highly motivated and can work independently; has a proven track-record and competence in estate and trust administration and accounting; has excellent communication skills and responsiveness to both clients and co-workers; is conversant with confidentiality requirements; is highly organized and meticulous, detail-oriented. Candidates must have strong Word and Excel skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be team players. Salary DOE.
