Andréa K. Johnstone is a Bernstein Shur shareholder and a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group. She advises employers in the administration of personnel policies and strategies for handling workplace-related issues.
Andréa represents the interests of management in all aspects of labor and employment law, including employment agreements, state and federal employment law compliance, union organizing campaigns, labor negotiations and arbitration, and employment litigation. She also conducts sexual harassment investigations, sexual harassment training, and other management training.
Andréa is a frequent speaker on state and federal employment law issues and authors an employment law column in several trade association journals. She is the co-author of Labor and Employment Law in New Hampshire, 2nd edition.
Andréa was named New Hampshire’s leading labor and employment law attorney in a survey of the legal profession by Business New Hampshire Magazine. She is recognized in both Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA for her work in labor and employment law. In 2007, Andréa was recognized as one of the Top 50 Women Super Lawyers in New England.
Prior to private practice, Andrea served as a judicial law clerk in the New Hampshire Superior Court.
